Throughout the past 5 summers, SummerDaze has become one of Toronto’s defining event series among the dance music scene. With their values firmly based on spreading love and feel good music, SummerDaze has unleashed a bit of magic across Toronto’s downtown core. Coming up to their fifth season, the team reveals four of their summer dates to set Summer 2016 in motion.
Last week SummerDaze annouced their season opener with Bedouin, Oliver Dollar, Marques Wyatt and Mainline, the 7 piece Disco band from Toronto. The grand opening will take place at Steam Whistle Brewery, the prominent waterfront location, on Sunday, May 15th in conjunction with Way of Acting (WOA), FLOH Toronto and SILO.
And that’s not all! On Saturday June 4th, in co-production with Captive Audience, HITO (Enter.) headlines a Japanese themed day party at Sunnyside Pavilion. HITO has been features twice on Richie Hawtins ENTER. Ibiza compilation albums, and has shared the decks with him at Space Ibiza during his ENTER. summer residency.
On June 24th WOA, Techfui, Equaria and SummerDaze will join forces to host a sunset sail on the infamous Kajama boat with All Day I Dream’s HOJ. Enjoy a beautiful sunset as you embark on a journey through lake Ontario with the hypnotic sounds of New Yorks finest, HOJ.
Lastly, SummerDaze announces their Season finale featuring Nick Curly + Friends at the Steam Whistle Brewery on September 11th to close off another amazing summer season.
